After a spell of some warm water, we look to be in good shape as we arrive to August here on the upper Green River Basin. We have maintained good water temps throughout the upper reaches and have zero fish fatalities . Our guide team has produced some incredible fish this summer…. quite a few fish on dry flies over 24′. Which is nothing new, but seems like more of them this year. thank you to all who have visited and to all who are coming back this fall! 2027 Wyoming is booking as well, so If you need to get on the schedule, now is the time.

We are seeing 64-66 as daily high water temperature and great fish quality. As I’ve said all summer, these water temps are cooler than last season. Quite the surprise we got regarding sufficient water flows and safe water for trout to be caught in. As we see the temperature slope down, both water and air, we look forward to continue our grind into fall. Below is a recent temp comparison from 2025 and 2026. As you can see by the Grey line, the Snake in Jackson is warmer, yet we are still pretty cool and cooler than last year. No wonder the fish have been kicking ass!!

Fall goose and ducks hunts are just around the corner, we have available spots for the Sept 1 – 9 nuisance goose season, as well as 9/27. We have both field and big/small water hunts available. Fall fishing bookings are picking up we come to pre Kokanee salmon time. These red firetrucks make their way up the rivers here soon and collect many hungry trout as they migrate. Salmon fishing was great on the lakes this year, one could assume we will have another healthy run of fish yet again
