Here we are in the middle of May, sunny and 65 degrees 2 days ago, snow on the ground this morning. We’ll gladly take the precipitation!

Fishing has been pretty solid for the boys. Seeing a good number of fish around the 23-24″ mark daily, sometimes multiple in a day, same boat! Our river illustrates why is the best….no quality like it. We have been getting into quite a few fish on midges, leeches and the biggest streamer you can huck! 5-10+” long heavily weighted and articulated patterns have been moving a ton of fish lately! Nothing like watching them eat the big meal!

Wild Alaska Steelhead on the Spey Rod 2026

We officially wrapped up the Alaska trip, setting up a spawn of this organization in a place no to be mentioned somewhere in Alaska. We did steelhead last month, and will be returning in July for  sockeye, silvers in August/September, with bi catches of sea run cutthroat and Dolly Varden. We will be running guided duck hunts as well, targeting the Harlequin, red breasted merganser, goldeneye, and all 3 species of scoter! Saltwater fishing charters for halibut and more, along with wildlife tours in our comfortable 26′ live aboard! Come see what’s got us all hot and bothered. We have limited availability for Alaska guided fishing trips this year. Call or text us for details and dates! Booking 2027 Alaska Steelhead now!

We are looking forward to the fishing turning to really good here shortly! June will fish fantastic with dry flies. If you want a chance to catch a wild, 20-25″ fish on a dry fly, this is your chance! No guarantees, but June is always great! and July is…well, you know, Dry Fly Valhala!

As always, the team of men here at the Wyo Fish Co is ready to show you a great time here in Wyoming fishing! Call or text to book! (307) 360-3251
