Adventure deep into the Amazon Rainforest with WFC guide Kurt this September! He’s hosting a trip into the jungle to hunt gigantic, hard fighting, warmwater predators in a region that has been closed under conservation ordnances for nearly three decades, with Angling Frontiers. As some of you remember, I hosted a trip with these guys for Bolivian Dorado back in 2019. The owner of Angling Frontiers, Patrick Teandler is a Bolivian national and a great person and friend of mine. He took great care of us when we visited years ago, and we are excited to send some folks to him this year. These fish are larger here than anywhere else in the Xingu Basin and they are entirely unfamiliar to human presence. Though this trip is set in one of the most remote locations on earth, it’s not without luxury accommodations; with a 5-star lodge and an onsite team of chefs to prepare each meal. Sight fish to Surubi (Tiger Striped Catfish), Giant Wolf Fish, Peacock Bass and, Payara while jaguars and other local wildlife roam in the trees above you on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
