Seasons
Bows, Cutts & Browns
As the typical fishing season grinds on, the cabin-fever inspired early season pressure inflicted on the fish in the lower stem drives them into the spring fed freshwaters of the high country. When they arrive, what they find is a cold water, easy drift current where big bugs thrive and fishing pressure is limited. Headhunting these fish requires a specific presentation and a masterful Reach-cast.
Our guides are ready to point you towards success! This experience offers a changing dynamic for the enthusiast who wants to dive into the addictive method of targeting feeding fish with large dry flies. As stated above, it requires some patience and comes with a learning curve however, with guided instruction and a taste of the satisfaction of this sub-culture of our sport – this trip can offer for many – a life changing experience.
