Green River Fly Fishing Report

March 11, 2020

March is here and it brought some great weather, for now!  Couple inches of fresh snow this week an another 10"-12" coming this weekend.  Snowpack will be added to, which is a good thing!

Fishing remains good, we have had some really good days thus far in March.  We have caught fish on everything... dry flies, nymphs and a variety of different streamers patterns.  We couldn't break 2' last week, but got a handful of fish at the 23"-24" mark.  Give us a call and set up you spring fishing day!  April is just around the corner,  along with warmer temps and hotter fishing.  If you're worried about the corona virus, don't be! The fish still need to be fed and Wyoming is a coronavirus free zone!

Back on the water tomorrow before the next snow event arrives this weekend, should be a good day!

****Winter trips for $400 until April 1.  Full day float, flies and beverages included, bring your own lunch****

Remember, Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge opens for guide trips on April 1st, 2020. Until then, we are guiding below the dam to the North Boundary of the refuge.  We are beginning to book April trips on the Seedskadee NWR, don't miss out on this years' opening. During April and May on the refuge, Spring blue wing olive mayflies start to hatch, the rainbows are dropping eggs for the cutties and browns to gobble up and the streamer bite begins to pick up.
